ok, you must be wondering now, "what new blogskin?"
ok, i changed back to the original one.
its like, the more you look at it, the uglier it gets.
whatever lor.
anyway.
blogskins are like wine, in a way.
the older it is, the better it gets.
i'm not making much sense here.
never mind.
why am i blogging so much today?
because common tests are officially OVER!
YEAH BABEH! *rips up exam notes*
nothing particularly funny happened during the common test papers. dont know why. guess its because everyone studied really hard (cant really say the same for me) and there was somesort of seriousness among us.
besides, the string of examiners which came in were all the scary ones.
bloody la.

er, chinese ah.
nothing much, just that...
SCREW THE NEW EXAM FORMAT AH.
what the heck are they trying to do to us?!
make all of us fail?!
well, if their goal was to mould every shitass chinese student out there into students who have a vast knowledge of the language without even studying, i would have to say
ITS NOT WORKING.
instead, i think that now i shall have to kiss my goal to at least pass chinese goodbye.
everyone knows that my chinese is probably the worst out there and the sole reason why such an ass-sy student like me has been able to scrape through year after year was because the paper for that language was STUDYABLE.
STUDYABLE as in, there were fill-in-the-blanks and forming-sentences.
and you know how i studied?
i memorised every single word and every single sentence in my handbook!
hell yeah! that was how i managed a pass every paper.
they seriously have gotta set their expectations for us chinese students a little lower.
ok, now on to A maths.
doom.
the first page was relatively easy.
i was quite relieved actually when i was breezing through the first page.
until i flipped the paper over...
for a moment i thought that they accidentally attached a page of some sec 4 worksheet onto my sec 3 paper until i looked around and saw equally stunned faces of my peers while looking through the second page.
(no, the teacher didnt catch me looking around. i looked around, not with the intention to cheat ok.)
anyway, i stumbled my way through the second page and i left the last two questions blank.
yeah, blank.
zlich, nada.
and i thought everything was going swimmingly well as i did the first page.
math teachers can be such SAVAGES and MONSTERS at times.
so, as a result of that, i've lost about 7 marks already.
7 seh.
then i went back to check on the questions on page one.
ok, turned out that i did the first question halfway.
and as i was busy figuring out the way to justify my equation, the examiner sounded out the two words every student hates when they know the rest of the solution to the problem but apparently doesnt have enough time to finish.
"pens down."
i contemplated grabbing my paper and throwing it out the window saying, "you'll never be able to deduct my marks now! mwahahaha!"
but i thought the better of it and decided not to, due to the trouble which will definitely follow.
like, scrubbing every female toilet in the school with nothing but a toothbrush.
(they dont cane girls. they make us toilet slaves.)
screw la.
seriously, i'm "screw till cannot screw liao" (in kwara's words).

anyway, after the papers, we (royce, kwara, fanglynn and i) gambled our way through literature.

we played dai di using julien's cards and i won the first round!
ROAR!!
and i could have won the second round too if it wasnt for the stupid 2 hearts.
everyone said cannot end with two.

i always thought that di was the 2 of spades. at least, that was what i remembered evonne telling me.
